The funeral provider of Prof Stephen Hawking has begun at the University Church of St Mary the Tremendous in Cambridge.

The provider will be officiated by the Rev Dr Cally Hammond, dean of Gonville and Caius Faculty.
Tune at the provider will be performed by the Choir of Gonville and Caius Faculty. The choir will blueprint Previous the Night Sky, commissioned by Gonville and Caius as a reward for Hawking for his Seventy fifth birthday in 2017. Its lyrics embody quotes from A Transient History of Time.
